Envirotest's experience in supporting decentralized vehicle emissions programs (also called test-and-repair or garage programs) extends over 20 years, including providing referee and quality assurance services in both Alaska and California.
Envirotest performs a wide variety of emissions testing procedures ranging from simple idle-mode tests to enhanced procedures such as On-Board Diagnostics (OBD), the acceleration simulation mode (ASM) and I/M 240 transient tests. Envirotest provides remote sensing equipment and monitoring services throughout the United States and abroad.
