State Smoking Vehicle Hotline. Report the
license plate number of a smoking vehicle you spot on Colorado's public roadways. The Air Pollution
Control Division will notify the vehicle's owner. The cities of Denver and Boulder
also have smoking vehicle hotlines.

daily during the Denver area's high carbon monoxide winter season, and during the high ozone

National Center for Vehicle Emissions
Control and Safety. Part of Colorado State University, NCVECS trains technicians in repairing
emissions failures and conducts research into vehicle emissions control.
